
Loan Assistant
Job Description
Purpose: Assist loan department with preparation of supporting documents according to policy and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain loan files
and file area in an orderly and efficient manner.
2. Check for completion and filing of all documentation on loans.
3. Complete proper title documentation and filing for secured loans.
4. Update collateral screen with current insurance on file.
5. Go to IMCOVERED.COM and enter insurance on SWBC website.
6. Mail insurance to SWBC.
7. Routinely check pending files for outstanding documents or titles.
8. Send requests for original documents.
9. Handle payoffs on loans
10. File and maintain all paid out loans and send letters to members
11. Release liens on mortgages and loans
12. Scan all loan documents
13. Other duties as decided by Manager of Lending
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, Familiarity
with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access), Good typing ability.
Reliable, organized and efficient. Accurate and detailed oriented. Friendly
disposition. Professional appearance.
